Join us Tuesday mornings to listen to a story and complete a related craft project. This class is open to toddlers as young as age 2, with assistance from their parents, through around age eight. Older and younger siblings are welcome to attend and participate as they desire.
4C Resources on the Road
June 26th, July 24th and August 28th, 10:15 to 10:45 a.m.
Resources on the Road is a cooperative program with 4C of Madison. 4C brings out a variety of activity and reading back packs that families can check out free of charge for a period of one month. These backpacks are geared towards infant/toddler/preschool and early school aged learners. Please stop in at 10:15 to see what 4C has to offer your family and come back the next month to return your back pack and check out a new one!
CRAFTY KIDS- Fridays
June 8th-July 27th, 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
(Please pre-register by Monday of that week to ensure there are enough supplies)
These projects are most suitable for age four and up. Toddlers are welcome to attend but may require more parental help. These activities are all free of charge but a donation bin will be out. Free will cash donations are appreciated to help off-set supply costs)
June 8th-Edible War-Kids will make marshmallow shooters. We’ll head to the park and have a fun marshmallow war!
June 15th- Rockin East Troy- Join is the East Troy Rocks movement by painting your very own rocks to hide. Play clothes recommended.
June 22nd- Tie Dye- You may bring up to three items to tie dye. We will show different ways to tie shirts and tie dye techniques.
June 29th- Dragonfly-Kids will create and paint a beautiful recycled egg carton dragonfly. Play clothes recommended.
July 6th-Jar Aquarium-We will be making a fun aquarium in a jar.
July 13th-Water Bottle Fire Fly-This recycled craft will create a fun, glow in the dark, fire fly!
July 20th- Wet and Wild-We will make some great sponge bombs and head to the park for a fun water war! Swimsuits and towels recommended!
July 27th-Bubble Blast-Learn how to make your own homemade bubbles and make bubbles big and small. Play clothes recommended.
Mondays June 25th through July 23rd, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

The FIT Families program is a cooperative effort with WIC of Walworth County. Each week we will focus on healthy food and activity choices. Families will be given different challenges to participate in and we will incorporate fun physical activity and explore healthy food choices and provide informational resources.

The Family Resource Center will be closed from July 28th through August 27th.
